Poncebos the Castle district Bulnes

Saturday, August 13th, 2011

Bulnes is a village located inside the central massif of  the Picos de Europa. Until this site gets no road but access to the outside is through a trail that  climbs  along  the channel Tejo. For many years Bulnes was totally isolated, which has caused their population  is reduced  to about twenty  villagers. It is divided into two areas, one along the river and  a higher one  called the  Castle. Among his house are the ruins of towers that seem to be the fourteenth century.
The route begins in the small picturesque stone bridge Poncebos, also known as a bridge of “Java” and goes on the trail that ascends parallel to the River Cares. Past the tunnel, get to the “Out of Bulnes”, where a drinking water source and little depues the same people. Then we will take a path on the left and crossed an old stone bridge to enter the canal. The road is wide and zigzags, and has a steep slope. At all times we will go along the Waters of the Tejo from the ports of Pandebano lead down to the River Cares. (more…)

The Most Characteristic Mountains of the Europa Peaks in Spain

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

El Naranjo de Bulnes is the most characteristic mountains of the Europa peaks, the most famous, most reproduced photographically, and his fame comes not only from the blood trail that ascends to the summit. Since Luis Martinez, “The Cuckoo”, died in the wall on 2 September 1928, many climbers have lost their lives attempting to climb it. But that wall is smooth, like an impregnable tower, it is tempting, and defeat is a real achievement. Beating winter Naranjo is the aspiration of all mountaineers, except the Count of Saint-Saud, who, in his meticulous and detailed tour of the Picos, scarcely noticed the Naranjo. One of the last road open about it has the poetic name of ‘Winter Sleep’ dream, this time, was happy to wake up. But veterans say the Pico Naranjo increasingly looks more like a hardware store by the number of pins and iron left on the mountain walls.

El Naranjo is not as high as Torrecerredo or a mass as great as Peña Santa, however, dutifully than in fame and legend of these two mountains. First, is unmistakable. In the translation of Benjamin Jarnés of “The Song of Roland,” we read, referring to the Emperor Charlemagne, “Whoever you look, there is no need to show it.” The same happens with Naranjo, who need not show it because it is not possible to be confused with any other Mt. No other mountain also stands in front of him, so he is among the mountains, lonely, majestic, as if the only monarch of the three massifs. (more…)

A Typical Beach Bar on the Beach

Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Located below the Jet Apartments in Playa d’en Bossa, behind and next to the airport of Ibiza, with free admission-free, we found more than a typical beach bar on the beach (pun intended). It is an emblem for the evenings of summer in Ibiza, which begins around 10 pm and runs late into the night, becoming the heart of the beach party in Ibiza.
Funny how a place so special and magical, with the best music and a mix of cultures, races and peoples make up the “atmosphere in” you breathe.
On the terrace, you find “pretty girls” in a bathing suit or bikini dancing on the tables and chairs, with his sunglasses to the sound of house music and techno in broad daylight (and many more musical genres).
The lights on the island, with its magical colors, added to the beauty of the palm trees surrounding the place, or something as simple as dancing barefoot in the sand or in the crystal clear waters, make you feel like you’re in paradise.
Disc 1-The area on the terrace in the inner room.
Where you can enjoy the music and all kinds of cocktails. On the day we have our magnificent terrace. This is to continue the party at midnight at the clubhouse.
2-area restaurant, open all day. The restaurant is presented with its international cuisine and the letter “Mediterranean.” His great specialty is paella. (more…)

Who has not returned from a week of skiing and wanted to be there all the time? If you’ve played with the idea of spending a winter in the mountains, then here are some of the many good reasons why you should go out and do it!.
For this we choose the following points:
1. Perfect skiing / boarding in different conditions: A week or two a year is a very short time to really improve your skills in the snow, so that a full season pass gives you more time to practice and learn. It is worth setting some time and money so that you may have some lessons during the winter to refine and learn to handle different conditions.
You will be amazed at how conditions can change, month, day to day, even at times, I refer to conditions such as temperature, climate, wind direction, traffic and so on. All these factors have an impact in the snow. So do a ski season means you have the opportunity to try these different states of snow and a chance to learn to handle them.
2. Meet a skiing area: the center visit for a week will give you a quick overview of the ski area. Spending a few months will not let you really get to know 100% of the way the locals do, but at least it will help you have a base and give you the opportunity to leave the beaten path to explore.
